About Course
This course examines the development, management, and impact of tourism in urban environments. It explores the role of cities as tourism destinations, the integration of cultural, economic, and infrastructural elements in city tourism, and the relationships between residents, tourists, and urban space. Students will analyze tourism policies, destination branding, mega-events, and sustainability practices in urban settings, with case studies from major global cities.
